In november we spent 4 days in the town of Voecklabruck, near the city of Wels. There had been a parish mission a half year before and the parish asked the academy back for a few days to give a follow-up on the parish mission. The last day of our stay in Voecklabruck we sang at three masses in one morning. That was pretty exhausting, but a bit of rest was in sight. We travelled back to Vienna that day and the other day we travelled to Retz for a retreat in silence. Retz is a small village near the border with the Czech republic. We stayed in an ancient monastery with a real authentic atmosphere. Each day I tried to do a walk in the vineyards which surrounded the monastery.
