Pilgrimage to Mariazell
When I arrived at the academy I had some time to unpack my bags before everything would start. But during our first meeting I got to know that I could pack my bags again because we would start with a hiking trip from St. Poelten to Mariazell.

Mariazell sign

It was a beautiful journey through hills. Although I would call some hills mountains because the highest 'hill' we crossed was 1300 meters. But the Austrians laughed at heights of 1300 meters so for them this mountain is a hill.
We stayed also in cool places for night. One night we stayed at the Lilienfeld monastery. This is an ancient Abby on the route to Mariazell. We also stayed two nights in a mountain cabin in Türnitz. We had a rest day there.

I have made a special photo page with pictures from the pilgrimage.
