In December we were on the streets of Vienna a lot to talk about Christmas with the people. Often we were dressed as an angel or as a king or as Jozef and Mary as you can see below. We were also in a large shopping center, Lugner city. The owner, Richard Lugner, is very famous in Austria and he is really a typical example of a self-made man. He helped us a bit by reading aloud the Christmas Gospel in his own Lugner-city shopping center!
Vienna is very special in
december. It is cold but at every square there is a
Christmas market. There is a really nice atmosphere in the
city. At these Christmas markets you can buy punsch: warm
wine. Delicious!
Shortly before Christmas we visited the Christmas market at
the square in front of the Schönbrunn palace. Pictures of
